ASTM B366 UNS N06625 • Inconel Fittings • Inconel 625 Buttweld Fittings • Inconel 625 Pipe Fittings Supplier

Inconel 625 Pipe Fittings are supplied by Mumbadevi Steel India (MSI) at competitive prices. We have a huge inventory of ASTM B366 UNS N06625 Fittings with a variety of sizes and dimensions. The materials conform to International standards and specfications.

A fitting is used in pipe systems to connect straight pipe or tubing sections, adapt to different sizes or shapes and for other purposes, such as regulating fluid flow. Pipe Fittings are used in a piping system to change direction or function, which is mechanically joined to the system. The simplest way to achieve this is to bend the pipe in the direction required, but this process will stretch and thin the outer wall of the pipe whilst thickening and wrinkling, the inner wall of the pipe. This results in flow resistance and accelerated wall erosion. Inconel 625 Pipe Fittings are manufactured and finished according to international standards ASTM B366 UNS N06625, ASME B16.9, ANSI B16.9, ASME B16.28, ANSI B16.28, ANSI B16.25, MSS-SP-43 & MSS SP-75. Our range of Inconel 625 buttweld fittings includes Elbows, Tees, Cross, Cap, Reducers, Collars, Bends in all sizes and forms.

Inconel Elbow Fittings—Inconel Pipe Elbows are installed between two lengths of pipe or tube allowing a change of direction by 180°, 90° or 45°. The ends are machined for Butt Welding when the two ends differ in size, it is called a Reducer or, Reducing Elbow. Pipe Fitting Elbows are available as 180° elbows, 90° elbows or 45° elbows in 1D, 1.5D, 2D, 3D, 5D, 6D, 8D, 10D radius as short and long radius elbows. All ASTM B366 elbows are mandrel formed to ensure consistency.

Inconel Return Bend Fittings— Bends are similar to elbows with different bending radiuses. ASTM B366 Bends are supplied as long radius return bends and short radius return bends.

Inconel Pipe Cross Fiittings—Pipe Fitting Cross are used in several industries for providing the leak free and torque free sealing in any piping or tubing connection known for their close tolerances.

Inconel Cap Pipe Fittings—The function of a Pipe Cap is to block off the end of a line in an industrial piping system. Pipe Cap is fitted by placing the end cap over the open line and welding around the joint.

Inconel Tee Pipe Fittings—Pipe Fitting Tee is widely used in industrial piping systems to merge or divide fluids and do not require special tubing preparation before installation. Tees are available in different threading specifications and are engineered to close tolerances and precise dimensions.

Inconel Stub Ends Pipe Fittings—Stub Ends are installed in pairs and mated together with two Lap-Joint Flanges. The surface of the stub end has a phonographic serrated gasket surface which prevents leakage at the joint. Using stub ends allows sections of the line to be opened for cleaning, inspection or quick replacement, etc, without the need to re-weld.

Inconel Pipe Reducer Fittings— Reducers are supplied as Eccentric Reducer, Concentric Reducer and Conical Reducer or Bell Shaped Reducer.

Inconel Pipe Coupling— Couplings are used to merge two equal ends in a piping system. Couplings are classified as half-coupling and full-coupling.

Inconel Pipe Fittings manufactured by Mumbadevi Steel India (MSI) are designed for high performance under extreme environments. Moreover, our Pipe Fittings have wall thickness designed with ample erosion and corrosion allowance .We stock a full range of Inconel 625 pipe fittings in sizes 1/8” NB to 24" NB in SCH5, SCH10, SCH40, SCH80, SCH160, SCH XS, SCH XXS. Properties of Inconel 625 alloy

Inconel 625 Cold Forming

Inconel 625 can be cold formed by standard methods. When the material becomes too stiff from cold working, ductility can be restored by process anneal.

Inconel 625 Hot Forming

Hot working may done at 2100°F (1149°C) maximum furnace temperature. Care should be exercised to avoid frictional heat build-up which can result in overheating, exceeding 2100°F (1149°C). Inconel 625 becomes very stiff at temperatures below 1850°F (1010°C). Work pieces that fall below this temperature should be reheated. Uniform reductions are recommended to avoid the formation of a duplex grain structure. Approximately 15/20% reduction is recommended for finishing.

Inconel 625 Machining

Inconel 625 should preferably be machined in the annealed condition. Since Inconel Alloy 625 is prone to work hardening, only low cutting speeds should be used and the cutting tool should be engaged at all times. Adequate cut depth is necessary to assure avoiding contact with the previously formed work-hardened zone.

Inconel 625 Welding

Inconel 625 can be readily welded by conventional processes used for austenitic stainless steel, including fusion and resistance methods. The material should be in the mill annealed condition and thoroughly descaled and cleaned before welding. Preheating is not required and post-weld treatment is not needed to maintain or restore corrosion resistance.

Inconel 625 Heat Treatment

Hot- or cold-formed parts are usually annealed at 1700°-1900°F for times commensurate with thickness; higher temperatures may be used to soften material for additional cold work. Inconel alloy 625 is solution-treated at 2000°-2200°F. These temperatures are metal temperatures based on batch operations and may not apply to continuous annealing, which normally consists of short exposure in the hot zone of a furnace set at higher temperatures. The rate of cooling after heating has no significant effect on Inconel alloy 625.
